Sesgo (def. 7 de la RAE) no es lo mismo que sesgo (def. 4 de la RAE). La def. 4 es la que nosotros estudiamos aqui: ¿hacia donde se tuercen o distorsionan los datos? La situación donde NO existe distorsión es cuando los datos son simétricos, en otro caso, los datos son asimétricos. Para está última situación necesitamos una medida de distorción.
